The chief technical executive you need
Benefits of an Interim CTO
Our IT Team Augmentation Services are crafted to meet and exceed your organization’s objectives. From optimizing day-to-day operations to ensuring quality-oriented deliverables, our experts possess advanced skill sets that provide performance and reliability.
Interim CTOs hit the ground running by avoiding lengthy C-suite hiring processes and onboarding. You’ll start reaping benefits from day 1.
With decades of experience across multiple industry verticals and engineering stacks, interim CTOs bring an outside perspective into your staff, processes, and structures.
The CTO’s vast experience allows them to focus on the highest output tasks, without unnecessary spending, while allowing you to focus on critical business-related tasks.
Get access to the technological experience and leadership you need for a fraction of the cost of a full-time CTO.
Our Detailed Interim CTO Process
In this phase, we’ll work with key stakeholders and team members to thoroughly understand your goals, tech stacks, methodologies, and challenges. After that, we’ll agree on a roadmap for the work that needs to be done and finish onboarding.
We’ll start working on the agreed roadmap while seeing how your business can perform better technology-wise. That could be through identifying skill gaps in the staff or developing strategies to tackle newly risen challenges that appeared on the ground.
We'll lead the job search that will result in hiring the full-time CTO. From opening the requisition to onboarding. After that, the interim CTO will transition their metrics data and regularly check in with the permanent hire.
As a mid-sized company, missing a technical co-founder isn’t an ideal position to be in. Interim CTOs can bridge that gap by taking on all technical responsibilities and allowing you to focus on critical business tasks.
- Communication Skills: As a CTO supervising technical team members, soft skills management is as important as their technical knowledge. Knowing how to handle conflict and issues when they come up is key for an ideal candidate.
- Software Architecture: A defining factor is the CTO’s specific skills in the needed project. For example, a CTO that was primarily working on website development may not be the best match for IoT development.
- Critical Analysis: An experienced CTO should be able to differentiate between trends and hyped technologies that will bring no real value to your business, and innovative tech that will boost it.
